The first fully professional ensemble of the William Baker Choral Foundation will begin with an inaugural season in 2017-2018.  Under the direction of Maestro Lynn Swanson the chorale will present masterworks in three cities, Kansas City, Atlanta and New York, employing local professional singers for each event.

Concert performances will be accompanied by seminars and workshops offered through the Institute for Healthy Singing during the residency of Maestro Swanson and her professional staff.

Plans for the inaugural season include a performance of Johann Sebastian Bach’s St. John Passion in Kansas City, George Frederick Handel’s Messiah in Atlanta, and works of Aaron Copland and Ralph Vaughan Williams in New York City.  Watch this space for the announcement of venues and dates.
