Leslie Bunch

Leslie Bunch is a well-respected collaborative pianist with over three decades of experience in the world of vocal music. Retired from a 29-year career teaching vocal music, Leslie continues to share her passion for music as an adjunct collaborative pianist at William Jewell College, most recently accompanying in numerous vocal music studios as well as the college’s production of the fall opera The Medium.

In addition to her work at William Jewell College, Leslie is an in-demand accompanist with Liberty Public Schools and frequently collaborates at regional festivals and contests throughout the Kansas City area. Her versatility as a pianist extends to her part-time role at Second Baptist Church in Liberty, Missouri, where she often contributes to worship services and special events.

Leslie’s musical journey began at Northwest Missouri State University, where she studied piano and developed a strong foundation in collaborative performance. During her time at NWMSU, Leslie was the primary accompanist for numerous choirs and musical theater productions, gaining invaluable experience in ensemble settings. Leslie also had the honor of accompanying the Missouri All-State Choir for three years, a role that further cemented her reputation as a reliable accompanist.

With a deep commitment to fostering musical growth in others, Leslie’s career as a collaborative pianist has spanned diverse genres, including opera, choral music, musical theater, and sacred music.
