The Kenneth C. Babcock Memorial Masterworks Concert honors Ken Babcock, a loving and generous contributor to and participant in the Choral Music community of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Rarely missing a Festival Singers Concert, he and his daughters sang in the Summer Singers of Kansas City for many years. His generous financial support contributed greatly to the growth of The William Baker Choral Foundation during the decade prior to his death and enabled many participants and audience members to connect to music of timeless beauty and worth. Following his death in a tragic plane crash on January 11, 2013, the Kenneth C. Babcock Memorial Concert fund was created to honor Mr. Babcock and his legacy.  Through the generosity of his widow, Nancy Babcock, their friends and family, his great love for the work of the Choral Foundation lives on.
