Discovery Year, 2018-2019
Inaugural Concert Season, 2019-2020

The Choral Foundation is now in possession of a five-octave set of Mallmark Handbells.  The bells are being renovated during the summer of 2018.  We will begin a year of discovery in 2018-2019.  This will include training sessions for ringers of all skills levels with workshops for beginning, experienced and advanced ringers.  Rehearsals, with an emphasis on teaching and ensemble building,  will begin for a community handbell group during the fall.  Rehearsals will be held at the Jane Sullivan Choral Resource Library in Roeland Park, Kansas.  The day and time will be announced by September 1.  Kansas City Bronze will perform for community events and will augment concerts by other Choral Foundation ensembles during the 2018-2019 discovery year.  The first full season of Kansas City Bronze, including dedicated handbell concerts, will be during the 2019-2020 season.
