In the days between the recognition of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and the commemoration of Black History Month, the Festival Singers offer a joyful celebration of the Civil Rights movement and the rich diversity of our nation. A traditional Episcopal Evensong liturgy, led by Father Charles Everson, is interwoven with music of the African-American experience. All are invited to this service of worship. Free-will donations will be received to benefit the work and ministry of the historic St. Mary's Episcopal Church in downtown Kansas City.
