William O. Baker and Jamea J. Sale welcome to the Choral Conversations Studio Timothy J. DeWerff, author of "Louder Yet the Chorus Raise!" an Illustrated history of the Yale Glee Club, published to commemorate the group's 150th anniversary. Established in 1861, the Yale Glee Club is the third-oldest collegiate choir in the United States. The group has played a pivotal role in shaping choral repertoire, introducing spirituals, folk songs, and classical music into the glee tradition while performing on global stages. This episode of Choral Conversations features an interview with the author of Louder Yet the Chorus Raise!, an illustrated history of the Yale Glee Club, published in celebration of its 150th anniversary.
